The best of hidden turkey

This is the most welcoming place I have ever been too. The location on the riverside is tranquil. The owners Jill and Fikret are lovely and do everything possible to make your stay memorable. Jill organised walks for us in the Taurus Mountains and along the Lycian Way and accompanied us on outings as this was the quiet time of the year. I have alsostayed in the summer and autumn. In the summer the shelter of the trees and the sound of the river are wonderful in the heat. It is a ten minute walk to the mile and quarter long beach which is sandy for most of the length. The sea is crystal clear and ideal for swimming and there are many local boats willing to take day trips along the coast. There is nothing commercialised in the resort and you make your own enterainment in the evenings at the numerous restaurants along the seafront or in your own hotel. There are many historical sites within easy reach as long as you have your own transport. Locals can be persuaded to take you if you do not have transport
